How to add your MaxSocialClub Card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Look out for these buttons when browsing in Mobile.
Option 1:
On the bottom of our emails there is a "Add to your wallet" button - clicking this will add, or re-add the MaxSocialClub Card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Option 2:
Navigate to our website and log in.
Then navigate to this page - https://www.max.co.nz/pages/max-social-club-loyalty where you will see these buttons to add MaxSocialClub Card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Do I need to download an app?
No app required – your wallet’s already in your phone.
There’s nothing new to install. Just add your MaxSocialClub Card to your existing Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. You’re good to go.
Which phones are compatible with the MaxSocialClub Card?
Apple and Android only.
The wallet card is supported on Apple and Android devices. It’s not available for Microsoft or other operating systems.
Can I remove my Card or re-add it later?
Yes, you can remove your MaxSocialClub Card from your wallet at any time. This will not impact your rewards or earnings – you just won’t be able to check them.
You can always re-add MaxSocialClub Card to you wallet, by logging into our website or from the Icons at the bottom of our emails.
Are points and rewards updated instantly?
Almost – but not quite New points and rewards are added overnight. So if you’ve just shopped, give it a little time before checking for updates.
My phone screen is cracked and the barcode won’t scan – what now?
No worries, Our team can always find your account and it manually at checkout.
What happens if I change or lose my phone?
Easy – your card moves with you.
If you switch phones, your wallet card should transfer automatically. If not, you can re-add your wallet it from our website or the footer of any Max email.
Does the wallet card need the internet to work?
No internet? No problem. Once added to your phone, the wallet card works even without a connection.* It will then update whenever you next get a connection.
Do I just tap my phone at checkout like a payment card?
Not quite – it's not a ‘tap’ card, or a valid form of payment.
You’ll need to show the barcode in your wallet – it’s then scanned at checkout by our team, not tapped like EFTPOS.
